Start off your puppy with basic command training from the first day you get him/her. Have a list of rules that every family member has to follow regarding whats allowed and whats not, as this is vital for not confusing your puppy.

Follow the breeders guideline regarding your puppies diet and do not drastically change it overnight...unless you want tummy upsets, which is upsetting for you and your puppy!!!

Remember your puppy is a baby and his toilet training is your responsibility now... Take him out after he has eaten, woken from a sleep, after excitable play as he most definately will need the toilet then, and also ever hour in-between.
